Do most venues require hurricane vases?
Yes, the majority do. Even though Lucid candles don't drip, most venues require any open flame to be enclosed in glass for fire safety. We always recommend confirming with your specific venue, and we're happy to communicate with them directly!
How long do the candles burn?
Lucid tapers burn 5-6 hours, traditional tapers burn 8-10 hours, votives burn 4-5 hours, and sand pillars burn up to 16+ hours. Plenty of time for your entire event!
Can I use these candles outdoors?
Absolutely, but they must be in protected areas or hurricane vases (non-negotiable). Wind and open flames don't mix well, so we require hurricanes for outdoor use to keep everything safe and glowing beautifully.
Will you light the candles for us?
Setup service with lighting is available for $50-100 depending on quantity. Otherwise, we provide instructions and lighters for your wedding party or venue coordinator to handle.
How many candles do I need?
It depends on your vibe! For a 150-guest wedding (15 tables), most couples rent 45-60 taper candles plus 75-100 votives. Not sure? Text us. We'll talk it through based on your guest count and vision.
Can I mix different candle styles?
Of course! Lots of couples use Lucid or traditional tapers as focal pieces with votive clusters for extra sparkle. When sand candles are available, they make stunning centerpieces paired with tapers. We'll help you create the perfect mix.
